The geo textile will also serve as a combative barrier to either stabilize or stop any clay that may be present in the soil from mixing with the quality first layer material fill.

We make it a point to stay away from stone dust or limestone screenings since they can produce increased amounts of dust which, over time, entrap water causing drainage problems. A properly prepared and installed base is essential to providing adequate support as well as durability and integrity of the hardscape. With that said, proper compacting is vital to the overall success of the install and should not be overlooked or its importance minimized at all.
