Outdoor Kitchens
It’s finally getting warm out. In a month, you’ll be dying to spend as much time outside as possible. If you’re like a lot of families in middle Tennessee, the warmer months mean eating outdoors as well.
Over the past few years, outdoor kitchens have become a very popular project for Harpeth Valley Hardscapes. If you’re considering building an outdoor kitchen, this list is for you.
From Harpeth Valley Hardscapes, here’s our list of four must haves for an outdoor kitchen
- Grill. A built in gas grill is an absolute must for every outdoor kitchen. At Harpeth Valley Hardscapes, we recommend choosing your grill size based on the number of guests you usually have or plan on having when grilling outside.
- Countertops. Without countertops, your grill will be just that, a grill; and you’ll be prepping and serving all of your yummy outdoor treats inside at the kitchen table. For this reason, having plenty of counter space is number two on our list of necessary features for outdoor kitchens.
- Refrigerator. A built in outdoor refrigerator ensures you won’t be running in and out of your house for meat and poultry to cook on the grill. It’s also a nice place to keep ice cold beer and wine without running to the garage or your kitchen.
- Wet bar. A complete bar with stools for people to sit and drink while you cook will make your outdoor cooking experience more communal. And the sink to prep food, and keep people hydrated isn’t a bad idea either, especially if you’re serving drinks.
In addition to outdoor kitchens, Harpeth Valley Hardscapes also installs outdoor pools, outdoor fireplaces, retaining walls, patios, water features, and stonework.
